In 1992, several motivated members of the Armenian medical community gathered to form an association which would be the link in uniting all Armenian medical students and housestaff across America.  Over the course of the decade, AAMSHA has been successful in continually increasing its number of members and organizing multiple benevolent projects.  Today, we stand at the threshold of a journey into the 21st century with rich academic resources and a new group of motivated committee members. 

Our mission, in brief, is several fold: To increase our involvement with the Armenian community by educating and providing medical advice to the people, to serve as mentors for students interested in the medical profession, to increase participation in projects organized by AAMSC such as the annual Armenian Health Fair, and to organize as many social events as our schedules will allow.

As a member of the AAMSHA family, you are an integral part of what continues to make this association expand and successful.  We look forward to keeping you updated on our goals and accomplishments and are always open for your priceless suggestions.
